Tequila-Lime Chicken Breasts
Skinned chicken breats are particularly low in fat and are carb free. This recipe has some zing to it!
4 bonless skinless chicken breasts
2 limes, halved
1/3 cup tequila
1 Tbs paprika
salt to taste
1/3 cup oliveoil
1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey jack cheese
Season chicken breats with salt to taste and coat with a sprinkling of paprika. Place a large saucepan or deep skillet on medium high heat. Add oil and chicken breasts and lightly brown on each side. Reduce heat to medium. Add tequila and squeeze juice from limes. Cover and cook for twenty minutes. After this, top with shredded cheese and cook an additional 1-2 minutes
