Chopped Steak with Picante Topping
A twist on an all-time favorite. Cubed steaks with lean beef are low in fat and free of carbs. Can be seasoned with just about anything.
2 lbs extra lean beef
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 large tomato, cubed
1/2 white onion, cubed
2 tsp freshly chopped cilantro
Mix together beef, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and garlic. Knead together and form into 4 steaks, about 1/2 inch thick. Broil 1 1/2 to 2 minutes per side or until done. In the meantime, mix together lemon juice, vinegar, cilantro, tomato, and onion. When the steaks are done, top with picante mix.
